The prestigious selection of luxury hotels « Oetker Collection » chooses Marrakech to open a hotel unit

The prestigious selection of luxury hotels « Oetker Collection » has chosen Marrakech to expand its collection, through the creation of a luxurious hotel called « Palais Namsakar », for a total investment of 550 million DH.
This luxury hotel, whose official opening is planned for spring 2012, thus reinforces Marrakech’s place as a flagship destination for luxury tourism. This is the second hotel unit to join this collection outside of Europe, after the Bristol Abu Dhabi, which is scheduled to open in 2013.
This hotel unit has 41 villas and suites, gardens spread over an area of 5 ha, swimming pools and ponds over an area of 1.5 ha, in addition to restaurants, a SPA and a fitness area and other outbuildings.
During a press briefing held recently in Marrakech for the presentation of this project, the CEO of Oetker Collection, Frank Marrenbach, expressed his pride in adding this jewel to his collection, noting that it is an exceptional hotel designed to highlight Moroccan hospitality, the scent of the Orient and European heritage.
And to continue that the opening of this tourist and hotel infrastructure intended to strengthen the offer of Marrakech, is part of the development strategy of the said Collection in the Middle East and Africa.
