Beautiful makeover for the Kenzi Farah – Marrakech

“It is in difficult times that we must invest; said Abdellatif Kabbaj, CEO of the Kenzi Group, during a meeting with the press about the renovation of the Kenzi Farah. “It is with immense pride that the Kenzi -Hotels group celebrates the rebirth of one of the jewels of the prestigious hotel industry in Marrakech: The Kenzi Farah Hotel. Thanks to the courage of our group, the efforts of our teams and after more than 50 million dirhams of direct investments, the Kenzi Farah hotel has had a makeover. No less than 600 people, all trades combined, will have dedicated their talents and energy to the rebirth of this place” explained A. Kabbaj on this subject.
Standing in the middle of a magnificent park with 1001 scents, in the former location of the Marrakech nursery, this hotel jewel of the red city has a privileged location and makes easily accessible the many centers of interest for which Marrakech is famous. The luxury of its 384 rooms and its living spaces make it a place ideal both for relaxation with its O Spa By Kenzi and for work with its conference and seminar spaces equipped with the latest technologies.

A team of 360 people is dedicated daily to the satisfaction of a national and international, family and professional clientele at Kenzi Farah. Together they try to transmit to passing travelers the values which make the wealth of the Kingdom, important to the Kenzi group: hospitality, kindness and professionalism. Customers can therefore discover the secrets of the red city according to their moods in an always welcoming setting.

It should be noted that the Farah Hotel is managed by Kenzi with a commitment to figures, which has since been amortized twice. A great performance in hotel management. Managed by Abdellatif Kabbaj, Kenzi Hotel Group includes 9 category 4 and 5* hotels, i.e. 1904 rooms including two Club hotels. Four establishments in Marrakech, two establishments in Casablanca, a hotel in Agadir, a hotel in Ouarzazate and a hotel in Errachidia. The Group operates in the specific areas of hospitality, leisure and business tourism (seminars, MICE incentives, etc.). The Group has just opened up internationally with the creation of a development department for the management of large hotels, in other countries, or in Morocco, belonging to foreign investors.

With two employees, The Kenzi Group remains one of the largest employers in the hotel industry. Its social policy has the great merit of promoting staff in an understanding and respect which is reflected in the smooth running of the establishments. Indeed, social policy is at the heart of the Human Resources strategy. A field policy which continues to enrich and advance thanks to regularly maintained social dialogue with its social partners. In terms of professional training, the Group has a CFA (Apprenticeship Training Center) to meet the needs for initial and continuing training, both for current and future recruitment. With purely ecological and environmental concerns, the Kenzi Group is about to finalize its Environmental Charter. Aware of the importance of effective involvement in Sustainable Development, the Group is launching the “Umami Desert Ecohotel” project concerning the creation of a luxury hotel consisting of 20 suites with an innovative concept. The project is close to the heart of Fahd Kabbaj, who follows it with passion and determination. Among the components of this project: a construction ratio of 3% of the total land area; a creation of a bio-climatic architecture; consumption control; renewable energy production; limitation of waste and their revaluation… The project benefits from the technical support of Committee 21, French Committee for the Environment and Sustainable Development.

It remains to be emphasized that the Kenzi Group contains great potential in terms of Moroccan executives and managers who are the pride of the Group but also of the national hotel industry. During the meeting with the press Abdellatif Kabbaj was surrounded by his son Fahd, Mr. Abdelouahed Ejjaouani, CEO of Farah; by Mohamed Bennani Director of Development. Also present in the room was Mr. Baayou, SG of the Group, as well as all the female sales staff, both serious and dynamic. The group’s sales and marketing department has no less than 60 people.
Very good luck to all and good luck again to the Kenzi Group.
