eMarrakech: The American chain Morgans Hotels has just announced the agreement concluded with the Moroccan entrepreneur Ahmed Bennani and the Hivernage Hotels chain for the opening of a 73-room Delano hotel in September 2012 and a Mondrian hotel at the end of 2013 in Marrakech.
This is the second hotel in the world to carry the high-end “Delano” brand, after the one in Miami. The Delano will be located in the Hivernage district. The two great chefs Michel Rostang and Giancarlo Morelli will preside over the destiny of the French and Italian restaurants at Delano Marrakech.
The second establishment, « Le Mondrian », will be located in the Agdal district and will offer 69 luxury rooms and a leisure and Spa complex of more than 45,000 square meters.
The CEO of the American group, Michael Gross, declared on this occasion, reported by MAP, that this agreement marks “the establishment of Morgans Hotel Group in North Africa and we are delighted to be one of the first American hotel groups to extend our portfolio range to the dynamic city of Marrakech”.
“Morgans Hotel Group” has several grandiose hotel establishments in Mimami, Los Angeles, London, San Francisco, New York and soon Marrakech.
