Infomédiaire Maroc – La Somed finalizes the sale of 3 of its hotels to Khalil Tizniti, a businessman established in Agadir and president of the subsidiary of the Colombian chain Decameron in the Kingdom, we learn from a source media (Le Desk).
These are the Les Almohades hotels in Tangier and Agadir as well as the hotel-club La Kasbah in Agadir, which he has already managed since the end of 2015.
Somed is thus accelerating its withdrawal from the hotel industry, after the sale of Almohades de Casablanca to Atlas Hospitality.
Note that, according to the same source, for this operation, Somed is advised by Marc Thépot, the former CEO of Accor in Morocco.
