Saidia station: Three new hotel units

The CDG Group strengthens its tourism investments

A new impetus for the Saidia station. The tourist center of the Oriental region is acquiring new accommodation units.  And it is the CDG Group which is at the initiative of these new openings. The Caisse de dépôt et de gestion thus keeps its commitments and continues its support for national tourism by strengthening the reception capacity of the sector. The group in charge of the planning and development of tourist resorts is inaugurating two new hotel units as well as an Aquapark this summer at Saidia station, thus contributing to strengthening tourist activity in the Oriental region. The first entity to mention is the Melia Garden & Golf Resort which welcomed its first customers on June 1.

It is a 5-star hotel with 150 rooms and suites. Over 14,000 square meters, the establishment recreates the picturesque architecture of a Mediterranean village with personalized service. The Melia Garden & Golf Resort also has a golf course and offers many fun activities suitable for all ages. In addition, the CDG Group will open another 5-star hotel in the Saïdia resort in July. Named Melia Beach, the new hotel will provide residents with an exceptional all-inclusive location. The establishment spread over an area of 33,000 square meters has a capacity of 397 rooms and suites. Located on the seafront and on the golf course, Melia Beach offers a wide choice of restaurants of different specialties, a Spa, a large conference and events center as well as several indoor and outdoor activities.  The second opening planned for this summer is none other than the Alpamar Saïdia Aquaparc. This new establishment will represent the main leisure and entertainment component of the resort. On a 7 hectare plot, the CDG Group built this water park according to the best international standards.

Around ten attractions are introduced, following a theme and a narrative thread based on adventures on the high seas. Let us cite in this sense the wave pool of more than 1,200 square meters, the classic lazy river of 375 meters as well as swimming pools for children and slides. Note that the CDG Group has made the development of quality tourist structures in Morocco its hobby horse. For this commitment, the Group is making colossal investments to strengthen the hotel offering and bring out new attractive destinations. A major partner of Vision 2020, the group is planning and developing tourist resorts including Saïdia and Taghazout. In 2016, CDG inaugurated two major hotel references in Tamuda Bay in Tetouan, namely the Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach & Spa and the Banyan Tree Tamuda Bay. The Group also led the reopening of the Jnane Palace in Fez under the Marriott brand. In Taghazout, CDG opened Sol House Taghazout Bay-Surf managed by the Mélia hotel group.
