
Luxury hotels: Awards sweepstakes for AccorHotels Maroc
Renowned for its geographical location, the Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa was unsurprisingly awarded the best luxury Thalasso and Spa resort in Africa.
AccorHotels Morocco ends the year in style with several distinctions and awards awarded to its luxury hotels. Available in all major cities in the Kingdom, the AccorHotels network offers its customers unique experiences beyond simple accommodation.
Renowned for its geographical location, the Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa was unsurprisingly awarded the best luxury Thalasso and Spa resort in Africa. Serenity and well-being are the masters of the places imagined by the Moroccan architect Jamal Lamini Alaoui and the French decorator Didier Rey.
The establishment also received the “Best Hotel with Private Beach in Africa” award from the World Luxury Hotel Awards. This beach saw the opening of the “So Lounge Beach”, a sublime restaurant which offers the possibility of enjoying succulent dishes facing the ocean during the day or even spending memorable Lounge evenings.
As for the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche, it was the big winner of the World Luxury Hotel Awards. It was voted the most beautiful luxury design hotel in Morocco, best business hotel in Morocco, Luxury Rooftop View Hotel in Africa and finally best city hotel in Morocco by the World Travel Awards.
And thanks to its meetings and events space, the establishment has distinguished itself as the best Luxury Business Hotel in Morocco.
The city of Essaouira can also be proud of having an award-winning Sofitel. The Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa was voted Luxury Ocean view Resort in Morocco by the World Luxury Hotel Awards, Best Golf Resort in Africa and Morocco, respectively by the World Luxury Awards and the World Golf Awards. The address has a course designed by Gary Player. Designed in Links in the heart of a nature reserve, it includes two golf courses (one 18 holes and the other 13 holes), as well as an academy ideal for professional PGA golf courses (Professional Golf Academy).
Thanks to its spaces dedicated to MICE and its rooms that can be adapted in different ways, the Souiri resort also won the prize for the best hotel for organizing professional or private events in Africa.
Although it is recent, the Sofitel Tamuda Bay has managed to carve out a place among the lucky few. It was awarded the prize for the best seaside resort in Africa. Offering a waterfront experience all year round, the resort also capsizes with its modern design and its “Arty chic” setting.
Nestled in the heart of an immense garden, the Pullman Marrakech Palmeraie Resort & Spa won two distinctions this year, best family resort and most beautiful hotel gardens. The 17-hectare estate includes two swimming pools, one reserved for adults and an artificial lake, a Kid’s Village, an educational farm, rich and varied restaurants, a Spa By Nuxe and a local service.
Finally, the Pullman Mazagan Royal Golf & Spa won the award for best family destination in Africa. Located halfway between sea and forest, the establishment has 121 rooms and suites including 10 rooms specially designed for families.
