Berlin International Tourism Fair: Lamia Boutaleb promotes the Morocco destination in Germany

Lamia Boutaleb is participating this Thursday, March 8, in the meeting of African tourism ministers.

A meeting which will focus on the development of the Work Program dedicated to the Africa region for the period 2018-2021. The participation of the Secretary of State to the Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy, responsible for tourism in this conclave takes place on the sidelines of the Berlin International Tourism Fair which will continue until March 11 in Germany. Indeed, Ms. Boutaleb represents Morocco at this 52nd edition.

A participation which is not insignificant since the Secretary of State in charge of tourism has the mission of promoting the Morocco destination in order to better position it in Germany, a market highly coveted by destinations around the world. Ms. Boutaleb’s schedule is busy. The Secretary of State for Tourism will hold a series of meetings with the most important tour operators in the area. On the program, a meeting with the presidents of “TUI Group”, “Der Touristik”, REWE, FTI, Reisen as well as with the top management of “kuoni Group”. Added to this is also a meeting with the top management of some hotel operators and investors already established in Morocco. This meeting aims to study the development horizons of their activity in the Kingdom, in particular Orascom Developpement and Pickalbatros.
