The delegation of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) in Lisbon won the best tourism delegation in Portugal 2018 award counting for the 15th edition of the “Portugal Travel Awards”. The ONMT stood out among several nominated candidates, namely Spain, Brazil, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Macau.
The prize, considered the “Oscar of national tourism”, rewards the best performances of tourism stakeholders in Portugal, all categories combined, including airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels and tourism delegations.
The awards ceremony took place in Troia, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho, the president of the Portuguese Tourism Confederation, Francisco Calheiros, and several personalities from the political, economic and social world.
