The city of Tangier holds its Regional Tourism Exchange. The first edition of this event is organized by the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region and the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), in partnership with the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima Region and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.
This regional stock exchange, which will take place on October 19 and 20, 2018 at the Palais des Institutions Italianes in Tangier, is exclusively dedicated to professionals and aims to boost the flow of tourist arrivals to the region, particularly from traditional European markets such as Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, but also from very promising emerging markets such as those of the Gulf countries and China. or even India.
Nearly 400 participants, including regional, Moroccan and international Tour Operators and Tour Operators (T.O.), have already confirmed their participation in the event which is structured around three large spaces: “a Presentation Space”, “an Exhibition Space”, and “a BtoB Space” where more than 3,000 meetings in “speed networking” mode of 8 minutes each are already scheduled. This means that each participant will have an average of 45 BtoB sessions per day. The objective of this Tangier Regional Tourism Exchange is to offer an annual platform for meetings between professionals from the issuing markets and those established locally.
