Since 2003, the Villégiature Awards have rewarded the most beautiful hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia with a jury made up of 23 leading journalists from the world press.
In the “Best Hotel in Africa” category, the hotel was nominated alongside:
- La Mamounia (Marrakech, Morocco)
- La Badira (Hammamet, Tunisia).
- Lupita Island Resort (Lake Tanganyika, Tanzania)
- Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses (Rabat, Morocco)
- Hotel Tigmiza (Marrakech, Morocco)
2018 was a successful year for the Royal Mansour Marrakech, which received several prestigious awards. The Forbes Travel Guide, which rewards 27 hotels around the world, has awarded it its coveted five stars. Added to this was the Happy Guest Awards at the annual Leading Hotels of the World convention, rewarding only six hotels. Finally, the World’s Most Prestigious Venue prize awarded by the Prestigious Star Awards academy, which highlighted the Royal Mansour among 200 selected hotels.
And finally, the 2018 Villégiature prize once again confirmed the status and splendor of the Royal Mansour “thanks to the tireless work of the exceptional teams and the best craftsmen in the country. The Royal Mansour Marrakech represents the quintessence of luxury hotels and, thanks to these awards, the establishment proves once again that it represents the showcase of the Kingdom of Morocco,” declared Jean-Claude Messant, general director of the Royal Mansour Marrakech.
