in Morocco, Marriott and Eagle Hills sign a St. Regis on the Mediterranean
A new hotel brand is setting up shop in Morocco. The Sherifian kingdom welcomes the St. Regis Tamuda Bay launched earlier this week by Marriott International and Eagle Hills. This new project « will represent one of the most important components of La Bahia Blanca, the seaside resort which will be built by the private real estate investment and development company, Eagle Hills« , we note in a press release sent to the press, which specifies that the St. Regis Tamuda Bay, located on the northwest coast of the Moroccan Kingdom will also « a powerful tribute to the Andalusian cultural heritage through careful design, exceptional service and very high level gastronomic offers.
“Morocco’s rich cultural and historical heritage has long seduced the luxury traveler. The St. Regis Tamuda Bay represents a major project for the St. Regis brand, which continues to grow globally, in new destinations, which welcome a whole new generation of luxury travelers,” commented Alex Kyriakidis, president and general manager Middle East and Africa of Marriott International, quoted by the press release. “We are delighted to further strengthen our partnership with Eagle Hills, as we look forward to offering our guests a completely new experience, both tailored to the Morocco destination and true to the heritage of St. Regis,” added the executive. Satisfaction shared by the partner company, Eagle Hills, already present in Morocco.
Great ambition
M’Hammed El Merini, General Manager of Eagle Hills in Morocco, said they are excited to « be able to elevate » their partnership with Marriott International to a « whole new scale« , while benefiting from the St. Regis heritage and the brand’s renowned personalized service quality. “The St. Regis Tamuda Bay will set new standards for service and hotel sophistication in Morocco. We can’t wait to start welcoming our future customers to introduce them to the incomparable luxury of our complex,” suggested the first manager of the hotel company, displaying his enthusiasm.
Indeed, with the new brand in Morocco, the two large companies, Marriott International and Eagle Hills, have several ambitions. The first thing is to make the new hotel “the best” address in the region by offering direct access to “one of the most beautiful beaches in the world”. As for the other offers, notably the rooms and the luxury suites, they “will feature all the prestigious trademarks of the famous brand, as well as its very luxurious butler service signed St. Regis”, specifies the press release. Also, the St. Regis intends to seduce with gastronomic offers within a premium restaurant, with first-rate leisure facilities, with “sophisticated” meeting spaces, etc. Whatever it takes to become the first visible brand in Morocco and maintain this position
