Tourism: Northern Morocco on fire!
It was expected a large number of visitors from different Moroccan cities who will take the road to the northern cities, immediately after Eid al-Adha, in particular for the region of Tetouan and its beaches represented in the city of Martil. This region has experienced strong pressure, which has led to the rise in the price of residence, due to strong demand, which has exceeded all perceptions, where many families have dispersed, looking for an apartment as it was and at what price, to accommodate it so as not to remain on the street.
According to Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, the price of rent increased from 350 dirhams before the Eid period to 1,000 dirhams, which forced a certain number of families to find themselves outside of what they had planned.
The roads, for their part, also experienced unprecedented overcrowding, notably on the highway linking Tetouan to Fnideq, particularly when returning from the beaches in the evening, where queues stretched for kilometers.
Many wonder if local authorities have prepared for this large influx of visitors, particularly in terms of health services, because this flow of summer visitors requires redoubled efforts and possibilities. The same goes for collective interests, security, civil protection and others.
