Immohold Hospitality and IHG Hotels & Resort have signed an agreement for the introduction of the InterContinental Hotels and Resorts brand in Rabat. The 5-star luxury hotel, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022, will feature 156 rooms, 950 m² of meeting space, an exclusive spa and extensive health and fitness facilities. With five distinct dining destinations, guests will enjoy a diverse cuisine, from authentic to contemporary options.
The signing of this agreement is aligned with the strategy of IHG, the world’s leading luxury hotel brand, to develop its luxury product portfolio and expand into key gateway markets in the MEA region.

IHG currently operates 116 hotels across 7 brands in the Middle East and Africa, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, voco and Six Senses. Another 53 additional establishments, currently under development, are expected to open in three to five years.
