Moroccan tourism is at its best historical level
The Moroccan kingdom welcomed 2.6 million tourists during the months of June, July and August, i.e. 20% more than the previous year
Tourist arrivals in Morocco continue, as confirmed by the Minister of Tourism, Fatima-Zahra Ammor. “Despite the fact that we are in the process of compiling the data, all indicators point to positive results,” she said. “Beyond the numbers and statistics, these figures demonstrate the tangible impact of the tourism sector on the Moroccan economy, which translates into job creation, regional development and general economic stimulation,” commented Fatima-Zahra Ammor. The data presented by the ministry is explained by the arrival of Moroccans residing abroad who return to Morocco during their vacations. Many of them participated in Operation Marhaba-Crossing the Strait.
