Tomato prices have increased again in the majority of national markets. Prices are now reaching between 6 and 7 dirhams per kilogram, which has angered Moroccan consumers. Many citizens were surprised by this increase, even though they were expecting a drop in prices. A professional from the fruit and vegetable wholesale market in Casablanca explained that, according to players in this sector, the main reason for this increase is linked to exports abroad.
