
The Botola Pro D1 2025-2026 is back: Program and challenges for the first weekend
The Moroccan football championship returns this Friday, September 12 for a weekend of intense matches. The first day of the Botola Pro D1 2025-2026 spreads over three days and promises its share of shocks and twists.
Friday September 12: Shocks on the program
The kick-off will be given in Tangier at 4 p.m., where Ittihad Tanger (IRT) will face Hassania d’Agadir (HUSA). Later in the afternoon, two matches will take place simultaneously at 6 p.m.: Olympique de Dcheira will host Renaissance de Berkane (RSB) in Agadir, while in Safi, OCS will play against Union Touarga (UTS). The evening will end with a classic at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca at 8 p.m., pitting Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) against Kawkab de Marrakech (KACM).
Saturday September 13: Time for the Rabbais derbies
Saturday focuses on the capital. At 6 p.m., FUS de Rabat will face Raja de Casablanca (RCA) in a match that is always highly anticipated. Will follow at 8 p.m., at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, the meeting between AS FAR, title holder, and the newly promoted Union Sportive de Yaâcoub El Mansour (USYM).
Sunday September 14: Closing in force
The first weekend will end on Sunday with two posters. Difaâ Hassani El Jadida (DHJ) will receive the CODM of Meknes at 6 p.m. Finally, at 8 p.m., Maghreb de Fez (MAS) will face Rachad Bernoussi (RCAZ) in Fez, in front of an audience known for its fervor.
