Month of July 2015: positive result in terms of arrivals and overnight stays
Tourist activity for the month of July 2015 in classified hotel establishments in Agadir recorded an increase in terms of arrivals of +28.18%, or 83,308 in 2015 compared to 64,991 in 2014, and an increase of +7.19% in terms of overnight stays, or 400,244 in 2015 compared to 373,397 in 2014.

Tourist activity for the month of July 2015 in the classified hotel establishments of Agadir recorded an increase in arrivals of +28.18%, or 83,308 in 2015 compared to 64,991in 2014, and an increase of +7.19% in terms of overnight stays, i.e. 400,244 in 2015 compared to 373,397 in 2014.
Despite the influence of the month of Ramadan which took place in the middle of the summer period, the national market is positioned in first place with +18,152 arrivals.
As for the Average Length of Stay during the month of July 2015, it recorded a decrease to 4.80 in 2015 compared to 5.75 in 2014.
The Average Occupancy Rate in classified hotels in the city of Agadir during the month of July 2015 also recorded a decrease of -0.06 or 46.84% in 2015 compared to 46.86% in 2014.
Note that only 12 hotel establishments (5*, 4*, VVT of 1st, 2th category, and Residence 3th category), with a capacity of 8,023 beds recorded an average rate of 72.91% and 42 hotel establishments (5*, 4*, 3*, 2*, 1*, VVT of 1st, 2nd category, Residences of 1st, 2nd and 3rd category and MD) with a capacity of 13,727 beds, recorded an average rate of 44.05% and 35 other hotel establishments (5*, 4*, 3*, 2*, 1* and 1st, 3rd category residences) with a litter capacity of 7,211, recorded a weighted average rate of 19.85%.
Year-to-date 2015: Negative result for the first seven months
Furthermore, the analysis of the cumulative arrivals and overnight stays recorded in classified hotels in the city of Agadir during the first 7 months of 2015 compared to 2014, shows a decrease of -3.18% or 486,906 visitors received during the same period of 2015 compared to 502. 915 visitors received in 2014.
Overnight stays also recorded a drop of -10.26% or 2,262,788 overnight stays in 2015 and 2,521,563 overnight stays compared to the same period in 2014.
The Average Length of Stay during the first 7 months of 2015 recorded a decrease, i.e. 4.65 in 2015 compared to 5.01 in 2014.
