When luxury tourism is played out in camping mode in Morocco

Nestling inside a luxury tent in the most beautiful places in the world? The luxury travel agency Black Tomato, based in London, has thought about it. According to the news site Business Insider, options for choosing a vacation destination are usually limited to places where hotels and other accommodations have already been built. Except that the agency is changing that: the service, called “Blink”, aims to be “highly personalized” and offers temporary accommodation with the staff that goes with it.

Prices vary depending on location and length of stay. They can range from $10,964 per person for a three-night stay in Morocco to $29,600 per person for a four-night trip to Bolivia.

Black Tomato says it is working with local communities near the sites to set up the accommodation. It is also responsible for obtaining the appropriate authorizations from local authorities to install the structures if they are located in a national park or other protected area.

Destinations offered by the travel agency include the Mekong Sandbar in Cambodia, the Chegaga Sand Dunes in Morocco and the Uyuni Salt Plain in Bolivia, among others.

Travelers can opt for packages that include transportation to and from camps, dedicated meal staff and a selection of activities to enjoy the trip. They can request “any service” to accompany them on the trip: a personal butler, a spa therapist, an astronomer, a tour guide or even a yoga instructor.
