The French are avoiding Morocco for the holidays
Few French people go on vacation at the end of the year. This is what Opodo reveals in its annual report of reservations made on its site.
Crisis obliges, the French preferred European destinations, therefore less expensive. For dry flights, vacationers favored Spain, Portugal and Italy, the countries with the most reservations.
For all-inclusive stays, it is still the European countries which record the greatest number of reservations. Holidaymakers head first to Spain (Balearic Islands and Canary Islands), then to Greece. Tunisia, Turkey and the Dominican Republic bring up the rear of this top 5.
As for Morocco, ranked well last year, it completely disappears from the French end-of-year destinations.
