
Casablanca: 8.6 million DH for the dry fountain in Place Mohammed V
The call for tenders for the construction of the dry fountain at Place Mohammed V Ouest in Casablanca has been launched.
The construction of this new fountain, which is part of the Grand Théâtre de Casablanca project, will replace the old fountain on Place Mohammed V which was recently destroyed. According to Casa Aménagement, the opening of bids will take place on August 24. On the budget side, the amount of work for the creation of this fountain is estimated at 8,607,400 DH.
As for the amount of the provisional security, it was set at 129,000DH. According to the terms of the call for tenders launched by Casa Aménagement, the duration of the work was set at 6 months. Remember that the Grand Théâtre de Casablanca, whose work is still in progress, required a total budget of 1.44 billion DH. The work which began in October 2014 will end in December 2017. As part of this megaproject, the contribution of the Ministry of the Interior amounts to 480 million DH, the Hassan II Fund for economic and social development (400 MDH), the general budget of the State (280 MDH), the Municipality of Casablanca (180 MDH), and the Regional Council of Casablanca (100 MDH).
