Emmanuel Comble, new president of Timhotel
Emmanuel Comble, recently called by LFPI to head Timhotel, has solid experience in the hotel sector. He was previously Managing Director at Lavorel Hotels, the management structure of Lyon owner Jean-Claude Lavorel, where he notably supervised the 12 million euro renovation of the Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale, worked on the negotiation of the new franchise contract with Marriott [the hotel was previously operated by Hilton under a management contract, Editor’s note], and signed the VEFA (Sale in Future State of Completion) with Vinci. of the future hotel which will see the light of day in 2018 next to the Stade des Lumières of Olympique Lyonnais. Meanwhile, one of the group’s latest acquisitions, Château de Bagnols in Beaujolais, went from 27% to 68% TO in 1.5 years while its restaurant was awarded a Michelin star.
Previously, Emmanuel Comble was in Dubai, where he carried out the pre-opening and then the commercial launch of the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa (556 rooms, opening in July 2013) on behalf of AccorHotels and the Azeri fund that owns the premises, after having made another hotel opening in 2009 for the Kerzner International group with the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in El Jadida (Morocco).
After obtaining his master’s degree in Product & Marketing Design at the University of Karlsruhe Arts and Design in Germany, he held positions as sales director, first at Millenium Hotels & Resorts and the Hilton London Metropole, then at Concorde Hotels, notably within the former Concorde Lafayette and Concorde Montparnasse, then the group’s two largest establishments in France.
The Timhotel hotel chain has 20 addresses mainly located in Paris (as well as Lyon and Chartres), classified two, three or four stars.
