Rabat: Launch of the 3rd Latino Cinema Festival
The 3rd Latino cinema festival opened Tuesday evening in Rabat, at the initiative of the Cervantes Institute in collaboration with Spanish-speaking countries with diplomatic representation in Morocco.
This festival aims to promote the cinema of countries sharing the same language and the same culture, indicated the director of the festival, Javier Galban, in a speech for the occasion.
This 3rd edition is marked by the participation of Morocco as a guest through the screening of the film “Little Happiness”, which won first prize at the Tangier film festival, he said, recalling that this participation is explained in particular by the historical links between the Kingdom and the Hispanic world.
This 3rd edition of the Rabat Latino cinema festival, which will continue until April 8, will be marked by the screening of films from Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Colombia, Argentina and Chile.
