Ifrane, second cleanest city in the world
Ifrane would be the second cleanest city in the world according to an opinion poll carried out by « MBC Times ». This town in the Moroccan Middle Atlas is reminiscent of certain Swiss villages, writes the same source.
Ifrane was designated because of the quality of the air, some of its landscapes, such as the Vittel springs and its waterfalls, where it is pleasant to walk in the shade of poplars and maples, as well as for its lakes and rivers teeming with pike and trout, reports MBC Times.
Ifrane National Park is home to one of the largest cedar plantations in the world, where mischievous monkeys often approach visitors.
No other Arab city appears in this ranking dominated by the city of Calgary, in Canada.
