
Hyatt hotels & resorts opens a new hotel in Marrakech, early 2019
The international hotel chain Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of six new hotels in Africa by 2020, including one in Morocco.
In a press release, the chain indicates that these hotels will be opened in Algeria (Hyatt Regency Algiers, end of 2018), Cameroon (Hyatt Regency Douala, end of 2020), Ethiopia (Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa, summer 2018), Senegal (Hyatt Centric Dakar, summer 2018), and Tanzania (Hyatt Regency Arusha, start 2019), where the group is already present.
A hotel will also be opened in early 2019 in Marrakech. This is the « Park Hyatt Marrakech« .
It will be designed by architects Didier Lefort, Eduardo Gaggiano, Cheong Yew Kuan and Patrick Genard. The hotel will have 120 rooms, and an 18-hole golf coursedesigned by golf designer Kyle Phillips.
Remember that the chain is already present in Morocco: in Casablanca (Hyatt Regency Casablanca), and in Agadir (Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay).
These openings will create 2,100 jobs, explains the press release.
