The Royal Mansour in Marrakech crowned best hotel in Africa by the Villégiature Awards
PRICE – After a first distinction in 2015, the Royal Mansour, a luxurious hotel establishment in Marrakech, once again wins the 2018 Grand Prix for the best hotel in Africa awarded by Villégiature Awards.
The Villégiature Awards, composed of a jury of 23 journalists from the world press, has been rewarding the most beautiful hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia since 2003. For this 16th edition of the prize, the Royal Mansour stood out among its competitors in the competition in Africa, namely La Badira, a hotel in Hammamet in Tunisia, the Island Resort on Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania, the Tigmiza and La Mamounia hotels in Marrakech and the Sofitel Jardin des Roses in Rabat.
In April 2017, the BBC devoted a report to this hotel which it described as “one of the most discreet hotels in the world, hidden in the heart of the old medina of Marrakech”.
