The economic capital of Morocco is among the 10 cities in the world that TripAdvisor users have promised to visit in 2018.
TripAdvisor recently released its annual list of the 10 hottest travel destinations in 2018 (“Top destinations on the rise« ). To establish its ranking, the popular travel site relied on reviews from its millions of users regarding each destination’s dining, hospitality industry and tourist attractions, as well as search and booking data.
Good news: Casablanca is in this top 10. “Casablanca is today a large and modern city, but still offers myriads of dream moments for those who want to relive the medina and the Old Town,” writes TripAdvisor about the economic capital of Morocco. And added that “Casa is not very touristy, but it is the most cosmopolitan and western-looking city in Morocco.” Three places not to be missed: the Hassan II mosque, the Corniche and the Abderrahmane Slaoui Museum.
The other destinations in the top 10 most popular destinations in 2018 by TripAdvisor users are: Ishigaki (Japan), Kapaa (Hawaii), Nairobi (Kenya), Halifax (Nova Scotia), Gdansk (Poland), San José (Costa Rica), Riga (Latvia), Rovinj (Croatia), and Nerja (Spain).
