The third edition of the International Tourism Forum in Meknes (FITAM) will be held from October 18 to 20, 2018 in Meknes, around the theme “role of territorial actors in the development of the tourist destination”.
This event, organized by the Ismaïlia Al Kobra association, in partnership in particular with the council of the Fez-Meknes region, aims to shed light on the tourism sector, as a lever for regional growth.
The emphasis will be placed, among other things, on the tourist assets that the city of Meknes, an imperial city and universal heritage of humanity, contains, but also on the means of overcoming the problems which prevent the city from “resuming its rights as a first-rate tourist destination.

The experience of the French region of Occitanie in the field of regional tourism development will be presented during this edition, which will also be marked by the organization of an exhibition on tourism and craft products and visits to historical and tourist sites in Meknes, Ifrane and Azrou.
