The head of the CDG makes surprise visits to hotels
According to the newspaper Al Massae, the general director, accompanied by several CDG officials, made, for two months, surprise visits to famous, well-ranked hotels in Tetouan, Fez and Casablanca to identify the various irregularities linked to the management that reign there. Mentioned in the annual reports received by Zaghnoun, these dysfunctions prevent these establishments from delivering positive annual results, pushing the CDG to intervene to save them from the crisis.
The boss thus met with the directors of the hotels concerned to carefully study the reports which attest, among other things, to the difficulty of these units in attracting customers.
Zaghnoun would even consider, according to the daily, returning to the old strategy when the CDG took care of the management of hotels instead of bequeathing this mission to private companies like Accor.
