Cultural & Discovery Stay
The Saharan Cultures Gold Route Festival “FEROCSA” in Merzouga,
is designed as an invitation to travel differently, thanks to a stay that
meets everyone’s needs
Day 1 to 2
Marrakech-Ouarzazate-Merzouga (depending on
the time of arrival in Marrakech). -Departure from Marrakech
after breakfast, by bus or 4×4, heading
from the High Atlas via Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 m altitude),
panoramic views on the road. -Installation in the
welcome and accommodation village for the Festival
foot of Erg Chabi in a calm and secure space.
Day 3
In Merzouga, on the festival site. In the Morning:
Welcome of participants, official opening of
festival in a festive atmosphere, performances
artistic (songs, dances, music, parades and
dromedary parades..). In the evening: Entertainment from
village by artistic groups (songs, dances and
music), tales and legends in nomadic tents.
Day 4 to 6
From Merzouga, In the morning: We will help you
we offer an à la carte backpacking trip every day
camel, a “valley and dune” trekking.
(Count between 2 and 4 hours of walking per day) and one
excursion in 4×4, to allow you to explore
of the region. Refer to the table. In the afternoon:
Forum, gastronomic competition, parades and parades
camels In the evening: Village entertainment by
artistic groups (songs, dances and music)
and collection of tales and legends in tents
nomads.
Day 7
Closing of the Festival with awards ceremony. -Transfer
for Marrakech, free tour of the city.
Day 8
transfer to the airport and return flight.

-Meeting with the Saharan peoples where others only cross the border
desert;
-Artistic events of international and national renown;
-Forum and tailor-made activities with discovery workshops;
-Camel racing championship, parades and parades;
-Excursions-Discoveries of the Drâa Tafilalet Region;
-Camel rides and Tekking in and around the dunes of
Merzouga;

-To guide you in these discoveries, we also offer you
cultural events, tailor-made discoveries: Backpacking
dromedary, Trekking, 4×4 excursions, a stay that meets the needs of
each.
PRICE INCLUDES
-Supervision provided by a French-speaking guide, without visits to Marrakech
or other paid visits.
-Return international flight and local transfers by 4×4 or bus.
-Full board during the stay.
-On the menu: a camel ride, a “valley and dune” trek
(Count between 2 and 4 hours of walking per day), in the morning of the 4th to the 6th day of
festival.
-Bivouac accommodation in a double room to guarantee a safe stay
carefree, time to live and share an authentic experience.
-Entries to all festival events.
-Catering (meals are simple and varied).
