Tourism promoters have their souls riveted on the recovery and are sparing no effort to bring the winter season to a successful conclusion. According to Nadia Fettah Alaoui, the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and Transport, two pillars support the promotion of the tourism sector: the reopening of air traffic and the establishment of competitive offers to attract more foreign tourists.
Since August 6, the Kingdom has had the 2020-2022 program contract for the support and revival of the tourism sector. It aims to give new impetus to national tourism with a view to supporting the transformation and diversification of its value chain.
Thus, at the end of a meeting held with the authorities of the Souss-Massa region, as well as tourism professionals, Ms. Fettah Alaoui, assured of the existence of a program to upgrade the sector in the region and which mainly concerns the air link between Agadir and Europe and the proposal of circuits with the best prices.
It was within the framework of “The meeting dedicated to the evaluation of the implementation of the 2020-2022 program contract for the support and revival of the tourism sector signed between the State and professionals, as well as the constraints that tourist establishments must face”, specified the minister.
Also taken into account, the question of support for professionals in the sector not affected by this program contract and their assistance during these extremely difficult times, noted Nadia Fettah Alaoui, very eager to see the sector resume.
