Riyadh: Holding of the Morocco-Saudi Arabia economic forum

The CGEM economic mission to Riyadh started today, January 21, 2024 and continues until tomorrow. Organized in partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, this mission aims to explore investment opportunities between Moroccan and Saudi private companies and to create new synergies between private operators from the two countries, in order to take the bilateral economic partnership to a higher level.

The flagship event of this mission was the Saudi Arabia-Morocco economic forum, which brought together nearly 300 Moroccan and Saudi business leaders. At the opening of this Forum, the President of the CGEM, Chakib ALJ, spoke of the excellent relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly on the economic and commercial level. « Our countries have two complementary economies and have succeeded in laying solid foundations for their economic cooperation based on mutual trust. Today we are carrying out this mission to study the possibilities for innovative, sustainable and win-win business and partnerships in various fields, including the agri-food industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the chemical and parachemical industries, infrastructure, real estate, financial services, renewable energies, water management, tourism, logistics and new technologies. » he said.
