ONMT and SETO: Rabat, scene of the SETO 2024 Forum for dynamic tourism

It is in Rabat that the annual Forum of the French Union of Tour Operating Companies (SETO) is being held from April 24 to 26, 2024. An event coordinated by the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) and which puts Morocco and the capital in the starting blocks of French travel prescribers. The choice is highly symbolic and allows the ONMT to place the destination “Rabat, City of Light, Capital of Culture” on the map of major emerging tourist destinations. The forum brings together, for its 2024 edition, 130 French participants including tourism personalities and specialists, managers of the largest French Tour Operators and Journalists from the French professional press. The event, which started on Wednesday April 24, 2024, was enhanced by the presence of Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy (MTAESS) who welcomed French tourism professionals and praised the choice of Rabat for holding this important event. The Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting partnerships that contribute to the development of tourism in Morocco. The SETO FORUM is the major event for the tourism profession in France. Organized every year since 2009, it allows members to share the latest sales reports, to discuss common projects and French travel trends, but also to bring together in a friendly format all the players in the profession around recognized specialists who enrich the conferences, debates and interventions with their visions and expertise. In addition to the analysis of tourism figures and 2024 trends, three major themes will be addressed during the SETO 2024 Forum: the global economic situation, climate and tourism and geopolitics with selected speakers including Hubert Vedrine, former French Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Seto forum also plans networking sessions between French TOs and Moroccan tourism stakeholders from different regions of Morocco with the aim of developing programming for all regions of the kingdom. The ONMT thus plays its role as a catalyst serving the tourism sector and its professionals. Tourism in action continues!
