
Karim Zidane represents His Majesty the King at the 17th USA-Africa Business Summit
The Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mr. Karim Zidane, represents His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 17th United States-Africa Business Summit, whose work began this Monday in Luanda, Angola. The participation of the Kingdom of Morocco in this high-level meeting demonstrates the country’s continued commitment to strengthening its strategic partnerships with African states as well as with global economic powers, at the forefront of which is the United States. This summit, which brings together political leaders, representatives of international institutions and major figures from the private sector, constitutes an essential platform to discuss investment opportunities, trade promotion and economic cooperation on the continent. In his speech, Mr. Zidane highlighted the structural reforms undertaken by Morocco to improve its business climate, encourage private investment and strengthen regional integration. He also stressed the importance of balanced and mutually beneficial cooperation between African states and their partners, calling for a convergence of efforts to address common challenges such as energy transition, digital transformation and food security. The Moroccan presence at this event also reflects the Kingdom’s ambition to play a role as a catalyst for development in Africa, through a united, pragmatic and forward-looking approach.
