The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), reporting to the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), announces the arrest of four individuals aged 20 to 27, affiliated with the terrorist organization known as “Islamic State” (Daesh).
The searches led to the seizure of a manuscript of allegiance (bayaa), a video recording, a flag, an outfit with extremist connotations, as well as replicas of weapons and digital media currently being analyzed.
Investigations revealed that the suspects were preparing to manufacture homemade explosives in a mountainous area, as part of imminent terrorist projects.
This operation underlines the constant vigilance and determination of the Moroccan authorities to preserve national security and to firmly combat terrorism in all its forms.
