The PJD Marrakech renews its provincial leadership and opens a new organizational phase

♦RAHAL RIHANI

In an organizational approach reflecting a spirit of renewal within the structures of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the provincial section of the party in Marrakech closed the work of its regional congress, held in the room of the Al Nakheel Media Library, by devoting an electoral stage which resulted in the emergence of a new leadership, resulting from internal consultations carried out in a democratic and responsible atmosphere.

The results of the congress led to the election of Youssef Ait El Haj as new provincial secretary of the party in Marrakech, assisted by Abderrazak Jabour as vice-secretary.

Nine other members were elected to the provincial office: Khalid Wakhchi, Abderrahmane Erzouki, Abdelaziz Kawji, Mounir El Warzazi, Salah Eddine Ayach, Zakaria Lghribe, Mbarek Ennoukhi, Rokia Achouid and Souad El Akhal.

This renewal is part of an internal dynamic experienced by the party, aiming to reorganize the ranks and modernize the methods of political work at the local level, particularly after years of changes having impacted the national and regional political scene.

This congress also constitutes an opportunity to reestablish the link between management and the activist base, evaluate past performances and open new perspectives for engagement on local and citizen issues.

The new leadership of the PJD in Marrakech now faces a double challenge: restoring a strong political presence on the local scene, and strengthening the confidence of activists and supporters, in a changing political context marked by growing social and economic challenges.

This congress was not just a simple electoral moment, but a real stage of evaluation and renewal, reflecting a desire to adapt to the new reality with a political discourse closer to the concerns of citizens, and a greater willingness to open real reform projects on the scale of the ocher city.
