Settat: The INDH and Health launch the 3rd edition of the “Mother and Child Health” campaign in rural areas

The Provincial Committee of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) of Settat organized this Tuesday, in partnership with the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection, a vast communication and awareness campaign at the center rural health center of Oulad Mohamed. This initiative is part of the National Campaign for Mother and Child Health, which continues until November 20.
Its objective is to improve health indicators in rural areas by encouraging the adoption of healthy behaviors and access to regular care services. Women of childbearing age benefited from medical examinations for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer, as well as awareness sessions on the importance of breastfeeding.
The event coincided with the organization of a multidisciplinary medical campaign (including pediatrics, dentistry, ENT and medical examinations). imaging), during which around 120 women participated in the awareness spaces, while the total number of beneficiaries of the medical campaign exceeded 720 people.
The head of the human capital development program in the province of Settat stressed that this action aims to realize one of the fundamental axes of the INDH, emphasizing the importance of supporting awareness programs and strengthening access to local services in rural areas.
