The Will triumphs in Rabat: “Al-Awaïl” wins the Throne Cup and “Hanan” the Lalla Amina Cup during a sports celebration of inclusion

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the grand sporting finals of the Moroccan Special Olympics were held in the Ibn Yassine Hall in Rabat, aiming to strengthen the integration of people with disabilities by indoor football

The evening was marked by the crowning of two teams for the most prestigious titles: the team from the Al-Awaïl Association for the Integration of the Disabled from M’diq-Fnideq won the 22nd Throne Cup, beating the Amal Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons from Meknes by three goals to zero, while the Dar El Kabira Association of Safi won third place

Furthermore, the team of the Hanan Association for the Care of the Handicapped of Tetouan won the 21st edition of the Cup Fire Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Amina, after its victory over the Moroccan Association for Support of Children with Affected Children of Down Syndrome in Rabat by a goal to zero, the Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Disabled Children of Casablanca finishing third.

This major sporting event, whose trophy presentation was supervised by Chorfa Lalla Soumaya El Ouazzani, President of the Moroccan Special Olympics, saw this year the record participation of 40 associations from different regions of the Kingdom

The National Director of the Moroccan Special Olympics Games, Zineb Gharib, underlined the resounding success of these two editions, both technically and organizationally, insisting on the supreme objective of the event: to promote the social integration of people with disabilities, in harmony with the Royal High Vision for empowerment.

Bilal Jbari, player of the victorious Throne Cup team, expressed his immense joy for this feat which crowns diligent efforts, while the team coach, Abdessalam Soussou, praised the high level of organization of the matches and the dedication of his players.

The closing of the competitions was honored by the presence of official personalities, including ministers and figures from civil society, as well as representatives of partners, confirming the societal commitment to this noble cause.
