
Marrakech: The Majorelle Garden and the Berber Museum, open to the public from October 1
THE JARDIN MAJORELLE FOUNDATION HAS JUST ANNOUNCED THE REOPENING OF THE JARDIN MAJORELLE AND THE BERBER MUSEUM, FROM OCTOBER 1, FROM WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY, FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M.
« We have respected all the health provisions required by the government, including social distancing, the compulsory wearing of a mask, the provision of hydro-alcoholic gel and the taking of body temperature at the entrance », would like to specify the Fondation Jardin Majorelle in a press release, indicating that a protective mask will be provided to people who do not have one. At the same time, the foundation announced that it has published the new reception conditions within these spaces, among other things, the limitation of the number of visitors in the exhibition spaces, the compulsory disinfection of hands with hydro-alcoholic gel at the entrance and terminals available throughout the route, the compulsory wearing of a protective mask for the entire duration of the visit for all audiences aged eleven and over.
These measures also include scrupulous respect for physical distance from other visitors and museum staff and the installation of reinforced signage in order to raise public awareness of compliance with health instructions; adds the same source.
On another note, the Jardin Majorelle Foundation recalled that “during the six months of confinement, it maintained all its obligations towards more than 30 associations and projects in the fields of education, health and culture in Morocco, as well as towards its 200 employees who received their full salary”.
The Majorelle Garden Foundation, which is a cultural institution, unique in Morocco, which is dedicated to botany, Berber cultures, fashion, decorative arts and contemporary creation, includes the Majorelle Garden, the Berber Museum, and the Yves Saint-Laurent museum, as we recall.
