Marrakech: A new distinction for Palmeraie Palace
The Awards period at Marrakech hotel establishments has just started. While hotels are doing everything to win international distinctions, the 5* Palmeraie Palace hotel, the flagship of Palmeraie Resorts, has just been distinguished again by the World Luxury Hotel Awards during the annual voting session for 2017! These titles of honor are awarded by professionals in the sector (travel agencies and tour operators from around the world) as well as by customers.
The establishment distinguished itself in the category “Best luxury hotel in Morocco with the most picturesque setting” (Luxury Hotel Best Scenic environment) during the ceremony held in Hong Kong in October 2015 and “Best Luxury Golf Resort” (Best Luxury Golf Resort) in the Kingdom, in Doha in October 2016. These new titles crown the best infrastructure and excellent service of each establishment.
“It is a great honor for us to receive this distinction. More than a hotel, Palmeraie Palace is a true destination in itself nestled in the heart of the legendary Palmeraie of Marrakech which invites the joy of living,” said Karim Sentici, general director of Palmeraie Resorts. “We strive to provide our customers with an unforgettable experience in an increasingly competitive environment.
This distinction is proof that our customers are sensitive to it,” rejoices the CEO of the establishment. Especially since it is the colleagues and travelers themselves who have designated the hotel as a quality establishment. Built in the 1990s, the hotel was renovated in 2013 for an amount of 100 million DH.
If, at the time of its creation, the palace had built its strategy around synergy with golf, it has since added several other units and a conference center which have enriched its offering. Its center also hosts more than 50% of the events organized in Marrakech.
Today, this tourist project covering more than 230 hectares has a hotel offering with seven establishments totaling nearly 1,000 rooms. Alongside the Palmeraie Palace, we find “the Golf Pavilion”, the “Jardins d’Inès”, the tourist residences and the golf hotel which also accumulates distinctions.
