The partnership was materialized on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the Warsaw international tourism fair « TT Warsow », organized from September 27 to 29 and which saw the participation of a strong delegation led by the Moroccan Minister of Tourism, Lahcen Haddad, and the Director General of the ONMT, Hamid Addou, notes the press release.
During this show, the Moroccan stand focused on the seaside assets of the Agadir destination, presented by tourism professionals from this region, led by the president of the Regional Tourism Council, Abderrahim Oummani.
Emphasis was also placed on the cultural assets and the positioning of the Kingdom as a safe destination, tolerant and guaranteeing a total change of scenery, specifies the same source.
The strong participation of the Morocco destination at the “TT Warsow” trade fair also made it possible to announce the upcoming opening of an ONMT delegation in Warsaw to cover the Polish market which was until then managed from Austria.
Over the past four years, tourist arrivals from Poland to Morocco have recorded double-digit annual growth rates, reaching 52,000 Polish tourists in 2012.
