National Tourism Confederation: Board of Directors – Validation of the new single membership method. – National Forum on Tourism on June 13

The board of directors of the CNT, meeting on May 13, 2015 in Casablanca, validated the membership method for tourism companies, on the basis of a single contribution paid at the level of the regional trade representation and which makes them active members at the level of the trade associations, the Regional Tourism Federations, the National Trade Federations and the National Tourism Confederation.

The basic contribution which was retained for the smallest company is 1,000 dh, with a ceiling of 50,000 dh for the largest companies. This contribution is calculated on the basis of quantifiable economic criteria specific to each tourism profession. Each member company will have electoral weight depending on the subscription paid, varying from 1 to 50 votes.

The objective sought by this new membership method is to mobilize all tourism businesses both at the regional and national levels around the Vision 2020 program contract.

To this end, the Board of Directors of the CNT adopted the organization of a National Forum which will take place on June 13, 2015 in Marrakech.
Under the theme “What levers for the development of Moroccan Tourism? » This forum will make it possible to take a shared inventory of the sector through the vision of professionals.
The objective is to give new impetus to Tourism and to build consensus around a national roadmap resulting from regional proposals.

The subjects that will be covered during this day will essentially be the projects of the 2020 vision: Governance, investments, restructuring, promotion, marketing, aviation and internal tourism.

Members of the Boards of Directors of all trade associations and federations in the Kingdom are expected for this day, as well as any professional who requests them.
