The appointment of the new director of the CRT was officially announced by a Letter to the administrators, signed by the president Guy Mrach, specifying the following:
“Following the departure of our director of the CRT, Mr. Youssef MAOUN, scheduled for the end of the month, we are pleased to inform you that our Executive Office, meeting this Wednesday, May 4, 2016, approved the appointment of Mr. Fouad Hajoui to assume this new position.
Mr. Hajoui joined us today to put his skills at the service of our Regional Tourism Council, and to assist us in our mission. With an economic background, supplemented by a 3rd cycle Doctorate in Tourism and Development, Mr. Hajoui continued his career always in the field of tourism, and held various management positions within the Ministry of Tourism and the Moroccan National Tourism Office. His extensive knowledge of a number of important source markets for our Region, as well as international tourism operators, will be a considerable asset to enable him to carry out this new mission within our CRT.

Indeed, due to his training in economics and tourism development, in marketing and communication, and taking into account his passion, his experience, his interpersonal skills and his responsiveness, his knowledge of the operating mechanisms of administrations. But also good knowledge of the characteristics of different demands and different tourist products marketed internationally, leading market operators, a large number of decision-makers, journalists and development issues, Fouad Hajoui perfectly matches the profile of the position of director of CRT Agadir Souss Massa.

and opinion leaders, up to the collection of press coverage.
At a time when social media and buzz creations are at the center of any strategic approach, the organization of fairs, tourist events, promotional evenings and events will constitute another classic aspect of its mission.
The strategy implemented, thanks to marketing, promotion and institutional communication, the establishment of point-to-point airlines, has led to an increase in tourist flows and the
building the notoriety of Morocco’s image on all the markets for which he was responsible, including
Scandinavia, Russia and the emerging markets of Eastern Europe.

Hajoui began his professional career in October 1987 as Regional Director of the Ministry of Tourism in Azilal & Beni Mellal responsible for the development of Mountain Tourism. From September 1989 to September 1992:

With his practical experience, Hajoui acquired a certain and rewarding know-how which earned him and still earns him the respect of the operators and professionals he had worked with, particularly those in Agadir where he only has friends. Fouad Hajoui returns to his family. Satisfaction with his appointment swept through the tourism sector in 24 hours, leaving a unanimous impression of welcome and complete willingness to collaborate with him for the tourist development of the seaside destination and the Souss Massa Region.
Finally, it should be noted that Hajoui accepted the position of new director of CRT Agadir SM, without hesitation for a second, proof of the attachment he admits to the destination, its professionals and operators and its development. Very good success and good luck to you Fouad for the realization of this new challenge that you will be able to carry out well. You are indeed the right man in the right place, particularly in the current situation where the sector needs men with extensive international field experience. Which is your case.
Welcome back Fouad among yours and in the city that you have held close to your heart for years…
