The Marrakech Short Film Festival successfully inaugurates its 3rd edition.
On Friday October 27, the Marrakech Short Film Festival was successfully inaugurated in the magnificent Cyberpark in Marrakech. This long-awaited event was marked by the presence of the honored state ambassador, the Polish Ambassador, as well as a renowned Polish delegation, consisting of Oscar nominee Tadeusz Łysiak and Katalina, representative of the Munka program. This festival also attracted talented young directors from around the world, including Moroccans registered in the competition. The opening night was a real success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the Moroccan public in Marrakech, 90% of whom were young people. During this memorable evening, five exceptional films were presented, showcasing the talent and diversity of the directors. Among these films were « The Dress » by young director Tadeusz Łysiak, « Voila » by director Gabriel Navarro, « So That He’d Purify You » by Moroccan director El Hachimi Belghiti Salma, « Guerreras » by Lotte Van Raatte (Netherlands) and « Nothing Holier Than a Dolphin » by Greek director Isabella Magara. The Marrakech Short Film Festival continues to promote and celebrate international cinema, providing a platform for young directors to showcase their works and share their artistic vision. We are delighted to see the enthusiasm and commitment of the Moroccan public, which contribute to making this event an unmissable event in the world of cinema. The Marrakech Short Film Festival will continue until November 3. We invite cinema lovers and enthusiasts to come discover emerging talents and participate in this celebration of the seventh art.
