The governor of the province of Kalaa Sraghna makes a field visit to the commune of Sidi Rahal to strengthen development projects and preserve heritage Kalaa Sraghna, December 5, 2025 – Mr. Samir El Yazidi, governor of the province of Kalaa Sraghna, carried out a field visit to the commune of Sidi Rahal as part of monitoring development projects and strengthening infrastructure within the province, paying particular attention to cultural and historical heritage

The visit began in the Anmay region, where the governor stopped at the mausoleum of Yaacoub Ben Yammass, an emblematic figure of the Moroccan Jewish community, to receive explanations on the spiritual and historical value of the site

the old Koranic school located near the Al-Fath mosque, in order to assess its current state and study ways to renovate and expand it while preserving its historical character, to enable it to continue to fulfill its educational missions in optimal conditions

The visit also included the Moulay Hassan park, where the governor noted the need for interventions to rehabilitate the infrastructure and improve the equipment, as part of strengthening the quality of public spaces and the development of leisure infrastructure, thus meeting the needs of residents and contributing to boosting the cultural tourism sector in the commune

He gave instructions to the competent services to schedule the necessary interventions as soon as possible, The tour ended with an inspection of the new bridge built over the Massin wadi, at the level of the regional road n°210, which represents added value to improve road connectivity, facilitate the mobility of citizens and support the economic and social dynamics of the municipality and neighboring areas

This visit is part of the proximity policy adopted by the provincial authorities, aiming to monitor the implementation of planned projects on the ground and to strengthen coordination between the various stakeholders, in the service of sustainable local development that meets expectations of the population.
