Five luxury hotels in Morocco among the most anticipated in the world in 2020

It’s a long list of highly anticipated hotel openings for 2020. In Morocco, five luxury hotels are involved.

Hilton Al Houara – Tangier

A luxury beachfront resort just south of the city. It includes 304 rooms, suites and villas and a golf course designed by Graham Marsh.

Fairmont Taghazout Bay – Agadir

This hotel will have 155 spacious rooms, with sea views, and 52 Fairmont brand villas, which are scheduled to be marketed no later than 2019. These will be the first luxury seaside villas ever built in Morocco.

Ritz Carlton – Rabat

« The beauty of the Moroccan landscape and culture is at the center of the Ritz-Calton Rabat, Dar ES-Salam », comments Forbes. With 440 hectares of oak forest and the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course, the complex will feature five restaurants and lounges offering traditional Moroccan rituals.

Ritz Carlton / Tamuda Bay – Tetouan

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve on Tamuda Bay offers an upscale enclave that marries local design and natural beauty. Located by the sea, the resort offers luxury amenities (beach club, golf course and upscale accommodation).

St. Regis / Tamuda Bay – Tetouan

The new hotel located in the north of the country will include 100 rooms and suites with sea views. The resort will offer a specialty restaurant, an all-morning restaurant and a St. Regis bar inspired by the King Cole bar in New York.

Forbes’ luxury list also includes, among others, the Aman New York, Ras Al Khaima in Dubai by Anantara, the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo, The Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, and the Waldorf Atoria in Bali.
