A new project for Vichy Spa International in Bouznika
Vichy Spa International in Bouznika is working hard on its new project in Bouznika. This hotel complex (5 stars), whose investor is the ONAPAR-AMETYS Group, will open its doors in March 2018.
Vichy Spa International (VSI) is increasing its projects in the Kingdom. The 100% subsidiary of Compagnie de Vichy, which signed a delegated management contract with CDG in 2016 for the Vichy Thermalia Spa hotel and the modern thermal spa resort of Moulay Yacoub, is launching a new hotel project in Bouznika. It is a 5-star hotel complex called Vichy Celestins Spa Hotel Casablanca. A Resort & Spa well located in the town of Bouznika, in collaboration with Atlas Hospitality which will manage it.
“We are working in collaboration with Atlas Hospitality which will manage the complex, and we are intervening at the level of our brand and know-how, in particular for the spa”, confirms Philippe Magne, director of operations of Vichy Spa International. In detail, this hotel complex is made up of 130 rooms including 14 suites, 2 large outdoor pools, a seawater swimming pool for functional rehabilitation, 2 restaurants including a dietetic one, a Satisform anti-back pain center… Vichy Celestins Spa Hotel Casablanca will offer health and slimming stays, management of type 2 diabetes and functional rehabilitation. It will also offer thalassotherapy, beauty and fitness programs. The top management of Vichy Spa International indicates that work is advanced on this project and that the opening is planned for March 2018 and should generate around 150 jobs. Concerning the project to build the Vichy Thermalia Spa hotel (4 stars) and the modern thermal spa of Moulay Yacoub, top management emphasizes that the work is also well advanced, and that the opening, as planned, should be on schedule, that is to say before the end of 2017.
Vichy Spa International has been working on this project since 2012. According to Philippe Magne, most of the major achievements on this project have already been made, and only a few finishing touches remain to be made to the rooms. “We plan to open before the end of the year, with a break-in period of one or two months before full opening to the public,” he assures. The Vichy Thermalia Spa Hotel is made up of 93 rooms of at least 32 m2, 7 suites supplied by thermal water, 1 restaurant with 100 seats, 18 spa cabins, 33 thermal cabins, a collective lesson pool, a women’s thermal pool and a relaxation zone or a large mixed thermal pool and two vaporiums. “Our partner, which is the Caisse de Dépôts et de Gestion, aimed to create a state-of-the-art thermal center, in order to offer Morocco a renowned spa resort. Given the poverty of the hotel offering on site, it decided to create a hotel with 100 rooms in the 4-star category which could thus accommodate spa guests for several days, or even several weeks. She therefore approached Vichy Spa International,” confides top management. This project mobilizes an investment of 218 million DH excluding tax. As a reminder, the management contract signed between CDG and VSI concerns the commercial and operational exploitation of the hotel and modern thermal baths by Vichy Spa International, which will bring its hotel and thermal expertise to give international influence to this offer that Morocco intends to develop.
