TUI: no flights to Morocco before September 11
The airline TUI has canceled its flights and holiday destinations to Morocco, Spain, Cyprus and Portugal due to the health crisis linked to Covid-19.
The low-cost airline has extended flight cancellations for mainland Spain and Portugal until Friday August 28, while it is not planning any flights to Morocco until at least September 11. Likewise, holiday destinations and flights to the Balearics and Canaries have been suspended until August 23 and until August 15 for Portugal, reports The Mirror.
Tui has made these decisions following the recommendations of the British Foreign Office which advises against all non-essential travel to Spain and Portugal.
“Due to continued advice from the UK Foreign Office against all but essential travel to Spain and Portugal, TUI UK has extended holiday destination cancellations until Friday 28 August 2020 for mainland Spain and Portugal and until Sunday 23 August 2020 for the Balearic and Canary Islands,” an airline spokesperson said.
TUI is inviting all affected customers to change their holiday flights for free to receive a booking bonus or cancel them to receive a full cash refund.
