According to the declarations of certain inhabitants of the Benslimane region, the Hassan II Stadium should generate a large economic and sporting dynamism, creating hundreds of job opportunities for young people in the province and surrounding areas
In this regard, the Société Générale des Travaux du Maroc (SGTM) won the contract for general backfilling works for the construction of the Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane, for an amount of 356 million dirhams, following an international call for tenders launched a few months ago by the National Agency for Public Facilities
By 2030, the Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane will be the largest in the world of its kind, with a capacity of 115,000 spectators. It will host several major football events, including the World Cup matches that Morocco will co-organize with Spain and Portugal. This world stadium will be built on an area of 100 hectares in El Mansouria, in the province of Benslimane (38 km north of Casablanca), with a budget estimated at 5 billion dirhams
The Grand Stade de Casablanca will be entirely in accordance with the requirements of FIFA competitions for hosting matches of the 2030 World Cup, The architectural design of this sporting masterpiece will be ensured by two design offices, The design of the stadium will be inspired by Moroccan tents and traditional popular gatherings called « Moussem », It should be noted that Morocco will organize the 2030 World Cup in partnership with Spain and Portugal, their tripartite candidacy being the only one accepted by the FIFA
