Morocco: a new vision for the tourism industry
Making Morocco a guaranteed destination, while offering a diversity of experiences to share. This is the vision expressed by the National Tourism Confederation (CNT), Saturday at Marrakech, during the presentation of its 2020 roadmap.
Moroccan tourism now has a new roadmap for 2020. It aims to make Morocco a safe destination by offering a diversity of experiences to share. A communication was given on the new vision last Saturday, in Marrakech, by the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), reports l’Économiste.
“This tool, developed by the private sector, aims to promote the participatory development of the tourism industry and the strengthening of its competitiveness. Thus, various actions are planned this year,” specifies the general vice-president of the CNT, Fouzi Zemrani.
The main planned actions essentially revolve around the Public/Private Partnership (PPP), the creation of a “Tourism Academy”, the digital shift, the development of human capital, the strengthening of the competitiveness of tourism players, and the regulation of the internal tourism sector.
In addition, other not least projects, including support for SMEs, the reorganization of the Tourism Observatory and the improvement of the observation and analysis system, are included in the 2020 roadmap.
The establishment of the “Webinar”, i.e. “an online class in which connected people can participate without geographical constraints, as well as a Master Class led by an expert on a particular theme”, is the other gRand project that the CNT also intends to develop.
