Morocco promotes its tourism capital in France
Morocco is participating in the 42nd edition of the international trade fair for tourism professionals “IFTM Top Résa” which is being held from October 5 to 8, 2021 in Paris. An edition marked by the resumption of tourist activity.
Morocco’s participation in this event is of particular importance this year, given the impact of the health crisis on tourist activity and the fact that the French market remains the leading source market for the Kingdom.
In this context, the strategy of the Moroccan National Tourism Office is to reassure French professionals and above all to maintain contact with airlines and travel advisors in order to guarantee a rapid and lasting recovery as soon as health conditions allow.
For the Office, the mission is also to support Moroccan operators with a view to attracting new partners and implementing new collaboration models, and ultimately, to boost order books. For example, Axel Mazerolles, Managing Director of FTI Voyages, speaks on this subject. “We are delighted with the presence of the ONMT at this show. This is important to reassure both the profession and at the same time tourists. Now it’s up to us to fill the order books and return to pre-Covid crisis reservation levels,” he confides.
Remember that in the coming weeks, the ONMT will continue this momentum of promoting the Morocco destination at the European level by taking part in two other strategic exhibitions in major markets: the TTG INCONTRI in Rimini in Italy from October 13 to 15, and the WTM exhibition in London from November 1 to 3.
